Business Promotional Items

Hello,

Today I ordered some business promotional items.  I bought a couple of vinyl banners, business cards, Thank You for your business post cards, a car magnet and more.
I couldn't get them all exactly the same so I choose two different patterns and I like them.  I should get my goodies in a couple of weeks.
The banners will be awesome for craft fairs and swap meets.
Here is a picture of a couple of the items.
Next will be getting an Etsy shop.

Lots more Chic Totes

Hi,

I have been busy sewing.  I have made a few more Chic Shopping Totes.  I will get them into my shopping basket soon.   Here is a peek at what I have been making.  Don't you just love the fabric. Each set includes four tote bags and a mini tote to store them all in. They are topped stitched for extra durability. Each bag is fully lined.  They are machine washable. The mini tote is so cute and is roomy enough to hold your fruits and veggies, a couple bottles of wine or some bread.  The large totes will replace the use of two plastic bags.  I can fit two gallons of milk or 4 - 5 boxes of cereal. I am also willing to take special orders.  I had a recent request for bags with music and cat fabric.  I am working on those now. Click photos to see more detail. Enjoy!

Floral Birthday Wishes

Hello,

I really wanted to share something with you today.  I also REALLY need to be sewing.  I have several of my chic tote bags cut and want to get them sewn together.
I came into my office and thought what can I do to make a quick card.  I found this piece with a already colored flower and it was layered and tied with a ribbon.  All I needed to do was add a couple of elements and I have a card done in minutes.  The floral piece was something I had made a very long time ago and never finished it onto a card.  So a word of advice, if you are working on something that isn't quite right for what your working on at the moment.  SAVE IT!  It may come in handy at another time.  I used a Sizzicx embossing folder to emboss the wonderful florish onto the green cardstock.  I have come to love those embossing folders.  Take a plain piece of paper and give a a quick pop of texture and design.  You can stamp or use your computer and print out a greeting. Mine was printed from my computer and then layered onto a piece of green cardstock and adhered with pop dots.
My quick card from salvaged scraps.  Enjoy!

Chic All Purpose Tote

Hello,

I am so excited today.  I have finished a set of my Chic All Purpose Tote bags.  I was going to label them grocery shopping bags but they are so cute and roomy enough for so many uses.  Use as a beach bag, fill will snacks and toys for a trip to the park, Scrapbookers will  be able to fill with lots of items for taking extras on the go. I use mine when shopping at Target, Sams Club and Wal-Mart also. They of course are great for holding lots of items when grocery shopping.  Replace two plastic bags with one of these.  I can fit two gallons of milk in a bag. For those of us that want to help with recycling these bags are great.  They are made with 100% cotton fabric.  Handles are double stitched for durability. They are completely lined and can be reversible. They are machine washable.  Each set includes four bags that are design coordinated so you look like a chic shopper.  Each set also includes the small tote that is designed to hold all your large totes when not in use.  The small tote is also a great size for fruit, two bottles of wine, bread and other delicate items.  They bags are also designed to roll up when not in use so they are compact and neat.
Check out my Fiber Creations site to purchase a set of bags.  More design choices will be coming soon.
I just couldn't resist sharing these with you today.  Hope you like them.
Set of four totes with small tote to store them in.
Large size to hold lots. Measures 17" x 16" x 6"
Designed to fit on the baggers rack for easy filling.
Large 6" gusset allows large items to fit easily.

Roll up to store.  Band and button keep bag closed neatly. Band also hangs on baggers rack to keep in place when filling.

Name Change and New Look

Hello,

Thanks for stopping by.  I have had my paper-art projects here for a long time.  I have started sewing again, and have enjoyed it very much.  My friends have encouraged me to sell my creations on my blog.  Well, Diane's PaperArt Creations didn't quite fit with my sewing items.  I decided I needed to have one name to use and under score it with both my PaperArt and Fiber creations.  My favorite color I always say is Raspberry and I love flowers.  So I thought I would combine my likeness for both into a business name and came up with Raspberry Blossoms.  My family isn't all to keen on the name, having me doubt my choice. Raspberry Blossoms is what it will be unless I am inspired with something I like much better. Feel free to comment on my new look and name.
I will be posting more items for both PaperArt and Fiber projects.  Come back and take a look.

Birthday Blessings

 Hello,
I have another beautiful card to share with you today. I had a friend request a card for her Aunts 90th birthday.  That is a birthday that deserves a special card. This is what I came up with.  How do you all like it? I used the honeycomb blank to create this card like I did the card below this post. You can buy the blank from Pinecone Press in either black or white.  I used the Cricut Picturesque cartridge to make the butterflies and swirls.  I used the George cartridge to make the Birthday Blessings greeting.  The other greetings I typed on my computer and printed out. Of course a bit of bling is always nice to finish the card off.

Blessings, Diane

Happy Happy Birthday

Hello,

Today I have an interesting card. This card does take more time to make.  I do believe it is well worth the time to give to someone special.  I started out with the Honeycomb blank I designed for Pinecone Press a about 4 years ago.   I saw a card on the internet (sorry I cannot find it again) that gave me some inspiration to take the blank and make a little change to it to create this card. I love the the change and think it will be very popular at work.  The paper is from the Happy line at Pinecone Press. If you get the Honeycomb blank to make the card you do need to cut all the paper and adhere them to the card before joining the center pieces together to hold the cards shape.  Then add on the greetings and embellishments.  Now that I have figured it out I will try to make another with some photos showing to to cut the blank so you can make the card.  Let me know what you think, leave a comment.

Valentine Card to share

Hello,
It is a wonderful Saturday here.  Super nice weather. Just warm enough to be comfortable without a sweater and no winds.  Hubby and I have spent the morning put away more Christmas decorations and CLEANING out the garage. Since I have classes in the garage I need to keep it neat and clean for all my wonderful ladies.  The past month the garage has turned into a dumping place for everything.  With everything that wasn't supposed to be in the garage now put away, the floor all washed cleaned and tables scrubbed I can have classes again.
I already feel Valentines Day coming very soon.  I am starting to make some quick cards that I can take to church and add to the cards I have up for sale.  The card sales goes towards the women's fund to help offset costs for events and retreats.  I will be posting more Valentines cards during the next few weeks.
Here is a card to share.  The papers used are from Pinecone Press.  Enjoy!

Happy New Year!

Hello,

Happy New Year everyone.  I hope the New Year brings with it positive changes.  Have you thought about what changes you may like to make?  I am going to figure out a way to create more time to craft for the pure joy of it. Spending so much time crafting for work and planning classes I haven't done much just for the pure joy of creating something for myself, family or friends.  I was sick a few days after Christmas.  Sitting on the sofa resting gave me time to make myself handwarmers, a matching headband and I am working on a scarf to match.  I am also going to plan time to start playing my flute again.  I told myself so many time last year pick it up and practice.  I am going to commit to just doing it.
I took time yesterday to make the calendar project shown below.

I started with a 12" x 12" piece of cream colored cardstock. Folded the cardstock in half.  Keep the creased edge along the top.

I then used the Country Roads paper from Pinecone Press to decorate the folded cream cardstock.   The frames are part of the paper collection.  I will add family photos to my project later.
I then used the calendar paper from Pinecone Press to add the monthsand the icons.  For the months I cut our a 2" square and centered it with temporay adhesive onto the month and cut around to make each month a 2" square to fit the project better.  I centered a ruler along the bottom edge of the project and marked at 4" and 8".  Punched a hole for the ribbon to go through.  Insert the ribbon and space the project apart so it can stand on a table, then tie ribbon into a bow.  You will see three months on each side.  For the next xis months just undo the ribbon, fold project in half the other way and reinsert the ribbon.  You could take a family photo Jan., April, July and October and add to your project.  A great way to see the changes throughout the year.  Especially with growing kids.

Enjoy!  Blessings, Diane
