Falling 4 You Flap Book Album

Hello,
Todays project was one featured in the Love Notes 3 book by Pinecone Press. Deb Jennis designed the book and I liked it so much I had to make one myself. I really like making these Flap Books. You can be very creative with decorating them, adding extra flaps and pockets to them. They make a wonderful small album that is great for photos of a special event for yourself or to give someone. The paper used is all a new design from Pinecone Press.
Would you like to have one for yourself. I will be hosting a class for this project Saturday, January 31st. 10:30 a.m. Class Fee $15.00. See calendar for more details.
Enjoy!

This picture shows a side view of the above right flap closed. See how another flap was created on the page.

This picture shows the above right flap closed. As you see you decorated each side of the end flap that closes inside the book.

This picture show the above right flap closed. A pocket was created to hold pages you can pull out scraped with photos or journaling. A great place to also fill with tickets to an event. If you would like to purchase a kit visit PineCone Press Design.
Let me know what you think.

Flutterby - Chipboard Album

Hello,

I love today's project. I designed this project at work. It makes me feel like Spring is here. The flower, ladybug and butterfly decorated with such bright colors are a delight to look at.
Let me know what you think. Enjoy!
I wanted to do something fun with the flower on the front of the flower shaped board. so I made a mini album that is a four circle according piece that slides on the ribbon sandwiched between the flower icon and the circle. How cool is that. To make the mini circle album I cut out one circle the size I wanted. This one is 2 1/2" in diamiter. I then got a piece of scrap paper to make a pattern. I put the circle on the scrap paper and traced outside the template. I then moved my template so the edge of the circles overlapped just a little bit and traced another circle. I continued till I had made four joining circles. I cut out this patten and placed onto my printed cardstock and cut out my now long adjoining circles. How totally cool! The ribbon that is behind the last circle attatched to the book does not slide.

I could not resist making wings for my ladybug. I love interactive projects. It also gives you much more space to add more photos. You can purchase the chipboard blank album. It includes one each of the flower, ladybug, and butterfly chipboard blank with the rings. You can also purchase the entire kit with the chipboard blank album and the decorative papers They are very reasonably priced. The project is decorated with Pinecone Press newly released "Flutterby" cardstock. All cardstock is double-sided printed. If you would like to purchase a kit visit PineCone Press Design.

Boy's Toys - Chipboard Album

Hello,

I finally have a finished project to share. It gave me a great opportunity to use my new camera. I bought myself a really nice camera for my 50th birthday in Sept. The camera has more buttons and features than I have had time to figure out. The tripod for my camera will be here this week. My son, Kevin took these pictures for me. I would have liked a little more depth to them. He says a little more lighting is needed. A little more lighting will be addded to the next photo shoot. The next couple of days photos were all shot at the same time so, I will settle with some depth of field issues. Here is a fun project I made. I designed the shapes myself and cut them from chipboard. At work we are working on a new book that is filled with Word and Shape albums. I made this one to contribute to the book. I also designed another fun shaped book that was featured in the book. (Picture will be displayed later this week) That project was made into a product line available for sale. I think this project will also be made into a product line available for sale. We're working on a couple more ideas also. We thought it would be a great idea to have chipboard albums that have different shapes with a theme to them. I titled this one "Boys Toys", featuring shapes of toys that little boys like to play with. I am so pleased with how it turned out. Please feel free to let me know what you think.

Fun CD Photo Album - Class

Hello,

I finally have a new project for a class. You will LOVE this CD Photo Album. I used a cardboard CD holder that you use for gifing a CD to someone, and turned it into a Photo Album. How cute is this. It is really easy to make. It has a cute envelope pocket for putting in a small photo, tickets from an event, a note filled with a message. There is also a large pocket you can add a photo to the front and back and fill with more photos. Come to class and make one for yourself, a friend, cousin, a teenage child, niece or grandaughter. It would be a great back to school present for a teenager to put pictures of her favorite friends. It would be great for an adult to put pictures of a special event shared with your friends. This would also make a very nice Christmas or Birthday gift. You will have some items left to make another project or some cards.
You can see my Halloween and Fall CD Photo Album project here: http://dianespaperartcreations.blogspot.com/2008/07/fun-cd-holder-photo-album.html

Fun CD Holder Photo Album

Hello,

These are so fun to make. I used two CD holders to make a small photo album.
The papers are from Pinecone Press. They are their brand new Halloween designs. I choose some of the colors to make it look more like a Guy or Fall book for the second book you see here.
I used a Sizzix die to make my tags and envelopes.
I wll be planning a class for this in the future. Watch the calender for date.
Let me know what you think.

Sunflower Purse Album Class

Hello,
Come and learn how to make these fun Purse Albums. These albums are made differently than the ones made with the Carousel Notes. Notice that you can make your album with a White background using the Pinecone Press Flap Album or a wonderful Chocolate background using Stampin' UP! Chocolate Chip cardstock. Yummy Chocolate!! oh, but this is paper not candy. These make great gifts to give, or for your own personal use. Decorate with any paper design you choose and you can change the look. Think of giving as Bridemaids gifts with pics of the wedding, Mothers Day gift filled with kids or grandkids photos, Friendship album.
Classes are at my home on Thursday, May 29th at 7:00 pm. Class fee: $15.00. Class will be offered again on Saturday May 31st at 10:30 am. Class fee: $15.00.
Please contact me by phone or e-mail to let me know if you will attend either class so I can prepare a packet for you. See calendar for more details.

Carousel Notes & Afternoon Tea Purse Album

Hello,
I love the Stampin' Up! Afternoon Tea designer papers. I put together the Carousel Notes and the Afternoon Tea papers and created these fun to make purse albums. I combined the "Live Your Dream" stamp set to complete the project. If you would like to purchase the Carousel Notes, the Afternoon Tea papers and the Live Your Dream stamp set, you can still purchase them until June 30th. Stampin' Up! has extended the time you can make a purchase from the Mini All Occasions catalog for one more month. Let me know if I can put an order in for you.

Disney Vacation Album

Hello,

Here is my finally finished project. Sorry no pictures to put inside my album yet. I used a great pocket die at work to make the pocket pages. The frames are also cut out from a die. The stickers are from Pinecone Press. The papers are also from Pinecone Press. I just love them. I plan to have a class for this project soon. I think the pockets are great for keeping tickets, receipts and extra photos you can pull out to look at. What do you think??
